The Psalm 139 is the official verse biblical the vigils and the prayer services commemorating the International Day against Homo/Bi/Transphobia 2015

Psalm 139, 14 “I praise you because I am awesomely made, wonderfully; your works are wonders. My soul knows it very well” This psalm will mark the vigils and the prayer services commemorating the International Day against Homo/Bi/Transphobia in 2015.
The words of praise and hope contained in Psalm 139 have been the most voted on the online poll thrown by the Italian website Progetto Gionata in close cooperation with the European Forum of LGBT Christian Groups and with the Commission on Faith and Homosexuality of the Italian Baptist Methodist and Waldensian Churches. People from all over the world voted and chose the biblical verse for IDAHOT 2015. 17 May marks the international day against homo-bi-transphobia all over the world. On 17 May 1990, WHO erased the homosexuality from the psychiatric disease list. Since then, LGBT groups have celebrated the anniversary with a special day against homophobic and transphobic violence and discrimination. LGBT Christian groups have started gathering in prayer and vigil service since 2005 for the victims of suffering and violence because they are what God meant them to be. This year, we will pray with the words of Psalm 139 that proclaims how God made us like wonders. Nobody has the right to exclude any creature on God’s name. We will pray all together to be light of hope in our societies, in our churches, in Italy and on the world.
